As Murlika has just finished her saptāha in Aligarh, Radhikesh resumes the kathā’s at Rasa Kunja Barṣāṇā, concluding on Rādhāṣṭami. A great perfection is there to hear a Bhāgavata kathā in the holy dhama.

Three days ago the Kalash yatra circumambulated Barṣāṇā dhama, going from Rasa Kuñja to Jaipur Mandir, the Śrīji Mandir to invoke auspiciousness.

What a wondrous spectacle to see many gopis with kalashes on their head walking behind the head held Bhāgavata Purāṇa and Radhikesh, maneuvering up the hill amidst the pilgrims performing their parikrama.

Under a giant pandal, Murlika has begun her 7-day discourse on the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Recording this event is the National TV Channel ‘Sadhana’, and they will be daily be covering the four hour katha between 2-6pm. Some felt that she would be nervous in front of such a national audience, but her presentation was spotless.

In order to spread awareness towards pathetic state of Yamuna River and gross negligence of mother Cow, Mahakaaleshwar Mahadev Mandir, Aligarh, UP, India has organized a Bhagwat Katha Mahauthsav completely dedicated and focused on saving Shri Yamuna River and promoting Go Seva.

Shri Maan Mandir Seva Santhan, with the help of Bhartiya Kisan Union (Bhanu) organized mahapanchayat at Mathura UP to spread awareness about Yamuna ji issue and to protest against government's lethargic behavior towards this issue. The protest was attended by leaders of various communities including Muslims, Christen, Jains etc. The representatives spoke on the issue and expressed their concerns over inaction of the govt.

One of the famous radio RJ1200 Radio covered the Yamuna campaign by interviewing Shri Brajraj Sharan ji while he was visiting Canada for spreading awareness among masses about the current state of Shri Yamuna Ji.

Several temples, Hindu organizations such as ISKCON, and other non-profit organizations working for environmental cause invited Shri Brajraj Sharan Ji to show Yamuna ji presentation to their congregation to help spread the awareness.

In an effort to provide focused attention on Yamuna Ji issues, a new website dedicated totally to the issue of Yamuna river has been launched. This separation will help users stay focused on a single core issue. Currently there are so many developments going on a number of fronts that people who are really focused on the issue get diverted with other stuff.

With new dedicated website, it is easier for us to properly organize various aspect of the issue. Users on the other hand, find it very easy to browse through the information and find what they are looking for.

Early this year, at the point in northern India where the Yamuna River empties into the Ganges, several hundred people set out on a six-week protest march. They were aiming to gather strength in numbers en route to New Delhi, the national capital, halfway up the Yamuna River. The river itself was the subject of their protest, and the popular chant was “Yamuna Bachao, Pollution Bhagao!”—meaning “Save the Yamuna, Stop the Pollution!”
