Mining of Braj Hills has brutally defaced the mountain land structure. Wildlife and vegitation has gradually reduced to almost nothing. Once used to be the only source of pasture land for the cows of braj, the mountains of braj are now not more than a bad looking rocky structure because of uncontrolled illegal mining. Loss of the grazing land for the cows is the primary reason why brajwasis do not want to keep cows. They are left with no option but to sell their live stock. This explains why we have slauter house in the very heart of Mathura, the birth place of Shri Krishna.
To prevent the cows of braj to end up in slaugter houses, it is important that brajwasis keep and serve them. To encourage brajwasis to keep and serve cows, it is important that braj has enough grazing area for them. To provide grazing area for cows, it is important that there is enough land for the purpose which is close to imposible as most of the land areas have either become farm land or have been converted into a village. In this situation, the only option left for us to use the original source of the pasture land, the divine mountains of the Braj. Shri Krishna himself used to take all of the cows of Braj to these mountains for grazing.
It is required to plant as many trees as posible on entire mountain region. It is indead a big but a posible task. Devotees of Shri Maan Mandir, under the guidance of Shri Ramesh Baba Ji, worked really hard for several years to convert Brahmachal Parvat in a green hill by planting thousands of trees and manually taking care of them day and night.
