Free feast is served every day all day to over 500 people at a time. Shri Radha Ras Mandir, who has been following the preachings of Shri Baba Maharaj for over last 60 years, has been instrumental in facilitating this service. Devotees who make this service possible has no business but making sure that no one must leave without having the feast.
This service was started by Shri Jamuna Devi Ji, mother of Pandit Ramji Lal Shastri, Shri Laxmi Devi Ji, and Sadhvi Kishori Devi Ji 60 years ago. At that time, the family was extremely poor but determined to do the Saadhu Seva, Sant Seva, Bhakta Seva as exemplified by Shri Baba Maharaj with references from the various scriptures. There was time they had to sell their belongings to continue the free feast service. Nobody knew what hardship they had to go to serve the devotees. However, they did not give up and walked on the path with the undaunted determination.
Seva (selfless service) that started with handful devotees serving handful of people has now grown to serve over 500 people twice a day.
It is very very important to note here that they NEVER EVER ask anybody to help them in any way for the feast service. Shriji and Thakurji are always there to take care of all they need to carry on this service. Not only this, their service is totally unconditional. People are not even asked about the identity before they are served. Such place is really a miracle on earth. Try yourself.
