Leading Up to Braja Chaurasi Kosa Parikrama 2011

We are just a couple days away from the Rādhārāṇī Braja Chaurasi Kosa Parikrama and a great excitement is in the air, for 40 days the dependents of Sri Ramesh Bābājī Mahārāja circumambulate Braja Maṇḍala in glorification. They will be walking 10-14 kilometers daily, with 24-hour harinama and intermittent kathas, a moving free of charge festival of up to 15,000 pilgrims.

Around three thousand pilgrims have arrived, the tents in the rear field have been set up, the little gopis have initiated a clean up out side of Rasa Maṇḍala. Daily one thousand kilos of wheat and vegetables arrive to accommodate the early crowd from West Bengal. In the morning, a rotation of different kirtaneers frequent the temple, a unified nama glorification as theKārtika tribute begins.

In seva before hand, the ārādhana program at Maan Mandir and Rasa Kuñja continues. The evening dance has taken a unique flavor of emotional dance, lila, and instruction by Sri Bābājī Mahārāja in the proper mood in enacting the pastimes, such a sweet atmosphere of sharing and training and is nowhere else in the world. Actually, it is a culture of the purest love and trust, a perfection in worship, only a reality and mood that can manifest in one of Rādhārāṇī’s main rasa stali’s, all brought to surface by Her agent in seva, Sri Ramesh Bābājī Mahārāja.

After the evening program and light prasadam, Bābā Shri will sit amongst the softhearted spiritual crew, a mini istagoshi, catering to individual needs, health concerns, and questions, some one to one attention before the 40-day journey. What a heart rendering sight, as his car drives off up the hill to Maan Mandir, the Rasa Kuñja stairway entrance and balcony above, lined with such appreciative dependents side by side, with unblinking kajol eyes, waving behind or holding onto the wire fence grid, a priceless moment in eternal seva, a dependent relation, separation, and anticipation of a reunion the next day. Yes there is no love elsewhere on this world, a true example and physical extension of the non-different spiritual plane.
