Rādhāstami in Barṣāṇā is the perfection of all types of observances and festivities, for Shri Rādhā Herself, the Supreme Empress in accommodation hascome to grace this domain, giving all access to the devotional realm. On this day, Her devotees glorify Her descent in many ways.
Now at Maan Mandir we find the center of the Barṣāṇā lotus flower of Shri Ji glorification, a lilasatan, rasastali and siddhastan, where there is a glorification in sound, dance, and drama.
Last night in the newly constructed ‘rasa mandap’ a most amazing drama took place where the dependents of Ramesh Bābājī Mahārāja performed a ‘true to life’ drama in remembrance and adoration of Srimati Rādhārāṇī. Such artistic emotion, dress, high tech lighting, the actors and a revolving ring of dancers respond to the lila song, a repeat of history, from eye movements, mudras and stance, head held butter pots, the percussion of dandiya sticks, majestic devotional choreography and the highlight, the janma lila of this most beautiful temporarily blind Girl.

Here we find such a variety of rasikas and strong characters, most of whom have taken birth in this land where Shri Rādhā reigns supreme. She is in their blood, and today is a tribute festival in Her glorification and appearance.
Today at 6am an abhisek of Shri Shri Manbiharilal took place conducted by Shri Ramesh Bābājī Mahārāja. Such beautifully crafted small deities, Who yearly take 15,000 pilgrims on a yatra parkirama around Braja.
From all around Braja, a most expressionistic collage of the most heart felt folk singers gather to take a turn in bhajan, depicting the love play pastimes of Shri Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, each with such a cultural command and unique styles, different eloquent facets to the jewel of original Brajabāsī culture.
On a seat to the left Bābā Shri watches and reciprocates, his face shifts from sobriety to rounded eyes and ear to ear open teeth grins, entering each rasa, reciprocating with the commanding folk singers and drama puppets on the central floor.
Many of the dancers are males dressed as females, always in divine pairs and lol how they portray the lilas as well as those of the natural female gender, a refined sensitivity in conscious communication, a transcendent presence at hand.
In the middle of the floor, a ring of dancers respond to the lila song, a repeat of history, from eye to eye, step to step, and a nurturing of invisible babies. Bābājī Mahārāja led the concluding bhajans, the entire crowd danced in unison, chanting Rādhārāṇī’s names. The final offering of the day will be a return to Rasa Kunja for the evening ārādhana at 9pm. What a day of glorification it has been in the topmost appearance and celebration.
