ISKCON, Pushti-Margiye Shrinath Ji Haveli, Ayyapa, Swami Narayan - All For Save Yamuna

Yesterday was a blessed day in Mumbai when Shri Radha Giridhari Ji ISKCON (meera road) temple hosting this week's awareness campaign to Bring Yamuna Ji Back to Braj. ISKCON (meera road) temple invited thousands of ISKCON devotees and congregation from near by temples including Pushti-Margiye Shrinath Ji Haveli, Ayyapa, Swami Narayan and many more.

Thousands of devotees did Harinaam Sankeertan in Mera Road for 5 kms which was comprised of residential area and crowded outdoor markets . Along the route we stopped and made the onlookers aware of the seriousness of the issue. As we walked along the route, others joined the prabhat pharie. The devotees came full circle to the temple and the leaders of each organized vowed to sing hari naam kirtan, continue to raise awareness through the media and in their community on regular basis, and keep the pressure on the official to free Yamuna ji from Hathini Kund Barrage.

Devotees are now realizing that Baba Maharaj ji's mission is not just to find solution for the sewage and industrial waste that is being dumped into Yamuna ji (and hence the slogan, Save and Purify Yamuna) but more importantly our seva (service) to lord Krishna is to Bring Yamuna ji Back to Braj. She has been diverted into Harayana and UP for too long. Her real place is Braj where she will be united once again with the Lord Krishna.

At the end of this occasion, so many devotee children gave their presentation regarding Braj Leelas. They were trying to give their message that how much they love 'Braj Bhoomi' Shri Krishna's land and how much they concerned about Shri Yamuna issue. One child showed 'Kaaliya Daman Leela' to show everyone that how Krishna cleaned Yamuna Ji in his pastime. Now many children (Shri Krishna's friends..Gopi-Gwaal), are ready to bring Shri Yamuna River back to Her own home land; Braj.
