With overwhelming support from all of the members, ISKCON GBC body passed a resolution of backing up "Bring Yamuna River Back To Braj" campaign at full strength during the their Feb 2012 meet at Mayapur ISKCON head-quarter. International Rivers protects rivers and defends the rights of communities that depend on them. They work to stop destructive dams and promote water and energy solutions for a just and sustainable world.

In a meeting with Shri Brajraj Sharan last summer, they expressed their desire to be part of the movement. They were really impressed with the facts and details that we put together about the Yamuna issue. In case needed, their India wing will be working with us locally to support our efforts.
