There are a number of activities involved in running Shri Mataji Goshala with over 10,000 cows (and growning at a fast pase) which is supported by over 200 workers. Following are some important facts about the goshala:

1. There are over 10,000 cows.
2. There are over 200 cowboys (Gwaalas) to take care of the cows.
3. Over 40,000 kg of cow menuver is collected a day.
4. Over 60,000 kg of hey is consumed a day.
5. Over 50,000 kg of sugercane is consumed a day.
6. Save abandoned, sick, neglected cows
7. Buy land to build cow shelters and grow feed
8. Build cow shelters, animal hospitals to take care of cows
9. Find uses for cow manure and urine in the community, e.g. gas, and medicine

You can adop one or more cows. It cost Rs 50 ($1 USD) to take care of a cow for one day. You have an option of sponsoring one or more cows for one or more days, months or years.
