Disgruntled by destructive action of Rajasthan authorities, mining mafia announced during the Vrindavan Kumbh that they would destroy Shri Maan Mandir building on March 5, 2010. It is reported that mining mafia distributed flyers claiming that more 5000 people would gather in Barsana and march to Gahvarvan and then destroy Shri Maan Mandir building. This news spread like fire and thousands of local brajwasis, members of National Kishan Union, and members of other organizations submitted their concerns to local authorities and warned them of untoward consequences if mining mafia tries to harm Shri Maan Mandir.

 On March 5, 2010, mining mafia had to suffer yet another set back when only 50 or so people gathered in Barsana in support of their call for more than 5000 people. Local authorities were also prepared and deployed hundreds of policemen at Barsana entrance. Thousands of Brajwasis and members of National Kishan Union gathered at Shri Maan Mandir to show their support, respect and concern toward Shri Ramesh Baba Ji Maharaj. Broken by no-show of the expected number, mining mafia had to back off after the stern warning from the police. Local print and TV media have been covering the unfolding events on day to day basis. 

 Once again Shri Maan Mandir has come up like a shining star in the sky.
